Description
Bahz says, "Two of our
folk here recently lost people very close to them. Jagvold lost his daughter in
an undead attack, and Ysildra lost her husband in a scuffle between dwarves..."
He scowls. "While we have been close friends with death for years upon years
now, that doesn?t mean we don?t feel every loss."
"It?s easy," says Bahz, "to
begin counting lives by the hundreds when you have attacks launched on you from
all sides. But if we stop counting each life, we?ve lost. Hear their
stories."
Additional
"By comforting them,"
says Bahz, "hopefully you will be reminded to count the loss of each and every
life as a reason to keep fighting. Even if defeat is inevitable, we must keep
fighting to the end."
