A zone of Qalia containing the Dark Elven city of the same name. For more information on the city, see Pankor Zhi (City).
The zone contains both the end of a large canyon, as well as the upper desert plateau. Much of the Dark Elf newbie experience extends into the exterior of Pankor Zhi, where the Arena of Bloodletting and Rockspine Lair are located. Traveling merchants have set up a small camp in the area, where they are often harassed by Dark Elf legionnaires (and newbie players) for sport.
Atop the plateau lies the well-guarded elite fortress of Pankor's queen and the wyrm roost. Several player housing plots can be found in the northeast corner along a road leading to Fathesi Steppe. Welcome to Pankor Zhi, stranger. Now watch your back."
Pankor Zhi is the grand capital city of the Dark Elves, in the zone of the same name. Located within a great canyon wall in western Qalia, the labyrinthine city is the home of the Queen of Dark Elves.
