Psionicist - Master of psionics
The Psionicist is an arcane caster that utilizes the power of the mind. They are available on Qalia & Kojan only. They have skills which can enhance the abilities of friends and cause their enemies to think twice.

Defining Features and Abilities
Psionictsts, like all arcane casters, are skilled at dealing damage through spells (in this case, psychic powers). Psionicists:

* Have assorted offensive spells, involving psychic energy (mental damage), telekinetic force (physical damage), and manipulating spacetime (arcane damage)
* Can cast buffs like Expansive Mind and Strength of Will
* Utilize crowd control abilities such as the illusionary Simulacrum, phase shifting "mesmerize" Time Trick, and even an AOE Time Stop
* Must travel to various gestalts scattered across Telon to learn certain abilities such as concentrations and Telekinetic Blast
* Can enter concentrations like Astral Form or Phrenic Rage
* Can learn some opponent's abilities via Mindspy at high levels
* Alter appearances via an Illusion
* Alter the hate levels of an enemy

Like many other Vanguard classes, the Psionicist can switch between different stances - called mindsets - that focus on different abilities. One such mindset is Abyssal Psyche, which focuses on offensive abilities.
A Psionicist is also able to bring assorted buffs to a party. For example, a Psionicist may enhance an ally's combat awareness (presumably perception in combat) and apply a diamond-like skin covering to reduce the impact of physical damage. These buffs depend on the Psionicist's concentration, which limit the amount of buffs usable at once (but can be enhanced via items).
The Psionicist also features a "mind bar" ability, gained first at level 3, that can be used to immobilize an enemy in a "battle of the minds." Using this ability comes at the cost of occupying the Psionicist's full attention. Should the Mind Bar break, the formerly mesmerized mob will harbor a tremendous amount of hate toward the Psionicist.
One unique aspect of the Psionicist is advancement; not only do they need to seek trainers, they must also visit relics scattered across Telon called gestalts in order to unlock new skills or upgrade existing abilities.
