Jin |
 |
|
Description:
Jin is a special pool that is used as the cost to perform certain special abilities and attacks. Jin specials work much like specials that cost Endurance points to perform; the difference is that Jin Specials do not cost Endurance.
Many Endurance specials generate a few Jin points as a byproduct of the special attack/ability.
When the Jin pool reaches a value that can be used, the Jin specials are readily available until there is an insufficient amount of Jin points.
How Jin Is Used:
Jin is meant to be built up and spent relatively quickly. You can store these points for use later, however if you remain out of combat for too long the points will deplete automatically because your character is losing their combat inner focus.
The Jin cap is small, but will grow slightly over time.
Because many Endurance specials produce Jin points, Jin specials do not cost Endurance, and that Jin depletes itself outside of combat, it is to the advantage of a Monk to stay in combat actively as much as possible during battle.
